The Rolex Daytona series came to life in 1963. At that time, it was the timepiece designed to cater to the needs of professional racecar drivers. Fast forward more than fifty years and Daytona watches continue to amaze horology enthusiasts. The Rolex Daytona 116528 White APH is a great example of how this Rolex series has evolved over the years. It features 18k gold all around. The 40mm case, bezel, and signature Oyster bracelet are all made of gold. On top of that, the white-color watch face is in a deeper eye-catching shade than the rest of the design.

At the heart of this elegant Cosmograph is the 4130 caliber mechanism developed in-house by Rolex. Unlike the usual chronographs, this mechanism makes use of fewer elements, which brings the benefit of higher reliability. The mechanism also features Parachrom hairspring which greatly improves shock and temperature resistance.

There are two function pushers on top and below the winding crown. The pushers are activated by just one click and they screw down when not in use. These pushers are perfectly timed in such a way that there is no delay when they are clicked.
